The UPPAbaby MESA V2 infant car seat covers babies from 4 to 30 lbs with the SmartSecure system that has made the MESA series one of the most consistently recommended infant car seats for installation confidence. The red-to-green visual indicator on the base confirms correct installation without requiring a wiggle test or belt tension estimation, which eliminates the most common source of installation error across all infant car seat categories. Auto-retracting LATCH stores the connectors automatically and the adjustable base foot accommodates different vehicle seat angles to level the seat correctly. The carrier releases from the base with a single button press and attaches directly to the Vista V3 and Cruz V3 strollers without adapters.

The reinforced adjustable headrest uses EPP energy-absorbing foam to provide side impact protection at the head level, which is the most vulnerable point in a side-impact collision for a rear-facing infant. The fourth anti-rebound handle position reduces rebound forces during a frontal crash by creating an additional contact point between the carrier and the base. The robust infant insert provides correct positioning for babies from 4 to 11 lbs during the newborn stage. European belt routing allows secure baseless installation using a three-point seatbelt for rideshare and travel use. The large UPF 25+ hideaway canopy extends for sun protection and tucks away neatly when not needed. All fabrics are fire retardant free, removable, and machine washable.

If you are shopping for the current MESA model, ANB Baby also carries the UPPAbaby MESA V3 which adds an Anti-Rebound+ Panel, an upgraded load leg base, and DualTech fire retardant free fabric and foam. The MESA V3 is the current production model and the recommended choice for new purchases. The full UPPAbaby collection is available at ANB Baby with free shipping on all orders over $45.

Powerful!
Format: Hardcover
The Girl in the Walls is mysterious, raw, and beautifully written. If you have any connection to autism, particularly how autism affects families, you will know how powerful this story truly is. Understanding how the autistic brain is designed, the beauty, the pain, and the family dynamics and genetics involved is so needed. I believe this story has the power to bring healing and understanding to it’s readers. Meg Eden Kuyatt is such a gifted writer. Her words brought tears, awe, and hope. Her poetic style and usage of font, space, and text is unique and inspiring. Meg’s artistic ability shines through on the page in a way that I’ve never seen until Good Different, and I think this book is even more captivating artistically.

A Unique and Incredible Tale
Format: Kindle
This book brilliantly shows what it feels like for me to go through the world neurodivergently. The characters truly resonate. The artistry of the layout and imagery is compelling and once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. What an authentic glimpse into an intense inner world!

Building something wonderful out of the broken pieces
Format: Hardcover
Meg Eden Kuyatt has done it again. I am a big fan of novel in verse, and this author is one reason why. The poetry delivers character, setting, and story in a clear, believable voice. The protagonist, V, is a middle school girl full of feelings, celebrating her difference while fighting for her place in the wonderland of neurotypicals. V introduces herself in vibrant socks that say “I am strange and wonderful.” And with that, we are off. V is reluctantly spending the summer with her grandma Jojo in the pristine white house that has been in her family for generations. History is definitely living here. The house is a character itself (and a metaphor). I love that V’s cousin Cat creates assemblages, an art form I was not familiar with. Cat describes it as taking discarded, broken stuff and turning it into something beautiful (another metaphor). There is a lot going on here and a satisfying resolution brought on by a heaping dose of empathy. Highly recommend for the suggested audience (juvenile fiction, grades 3-7), their teachers, and families with neurodivergence.
